7-8 November - Oil & Gas Council Nigeria Assembly, Lagos, Nigeria

HE Mohammad Sanusi Barkindo, Secretary General of OPEC and Pat Maseli, Head of Upstream for the Department of Petroleum Resources have both confirmed to speak at the assembly. Moreover with key confirmations of attendees such as Flowstream Commodities, Central Bank of Nigeria, BP, Streamsowers & Kohn and the Secretary General of the International Energy Forum, Dr Sun Xiansheng, this year’s Nigeria Assembly is set to be the meeting place for the Nigerian oil and gas industry, international financiers and investors, as well as key government stakeholders.

8-9 November - International Islamic Banking Summit Africa: Djibouti 2017, Kempinski Palace, Djibouti.

23-24 November - 4th Ghana eCommerce Expo

5-7 December - 4th Agrofood & Plastprintpack West Africa, Accra, Ghana

The German trade fair specialists Fairtrade announce the 4th edition of Agrofood & Plastprintpack West Africa to take place at the Accra International Conference Centre in Accra, Ghana. Producers of process & packaging technology seeing great chances for business in Ghana and the surrounding West African countries, official national pavilions have been confirmed by Algeria, Belarus, France and the Netherlands, in addition to leading exhibitors from 10 countries.

According to VDMA German Food Processing and Packaging Association, Ghanaian imports of process and packaging technology increased by 10% in 2016 to 77 million euro whereas West African imports of the same also went up by 10% to 557 million euro.
