Dear Editor
I must say working from home is very convenient because you get to plan your day without any pressure or rush. I work from home, we run a small business (together with my boss and partner) and we accomplish so much. We only go out when there is a need, trust me traffic congestion is a huge time waster so we avoid all that. Most people will be choosing this way of working as we move ahead.

You have your finger on the pulse of the trend, Frances. Many women do not remain in the executive/management race of the corporate world, but prefer the satisfaction, (although not the relative safety net of employment) by establishing their own enterprises, and so, have self-determination of their futures and aspirations. The high incidence of women business owners despite the economic climate - or also because of it, confirms this.

The writer has set out the issue very well and Africans abroad need to avoid being exploited and instead take control of the power they represent for global commerce.
