Lorlett Hudson is the Founder of One Hand Can't Clap which was set up in 2000 to help people create their own opportunities. She is the inventor of the critically acclaimed "The Things Mama Used to Say" Jamaican proverbs flash cards, created to inspire people through the development of creative communications.
She is an internationally recognised creative expert, a multi-award winning entrepreneur, a performance coach in the Personal Development and Education sector and a driving force behind the movement for diversity and cultural change.
Lorlett has been recognized as one of the Courvoisier 'The Future 500 Top Talents' in the UK, as one of Britain most influential entrepreneurs by the Voice Newspaper, and for "Changing the Faces of Britain and "Keeper of the Heritage" by the Jamaican Sunday Gleaner.
Lorlett's pioneering work in education and training resulted in her winning the Silver Award at the prestigious British Female Inventors & Innovators Awards 2005, the Wavemakers National Award 2006, and the runner up award at the National Training Awards 2008.
Over nearly 10 years as a business owner, Lorlett has travelled extensively, facilitating the learning, transformation and development of thousands of people from diverse backgrounds.
She has had local, national and international media coverage, while thousands of copies of "The Things Mama Used to Say" proverb cards have been sold and are helping many individuals create their own opportunities. The innovative Lorlett has found a formula that works and she is currently in the process of writing a book.
