Unlocking Southern West Africa's Pre-salt Exploration Potential

With the current global oil and gas industry focus on exploring alternative regions for production, deep water pre-salt basins along Africa’s South Atlantic coast are the newest plays that have attracted majors and independents from around the globe.

They are of interest because they share geological similarities with basins off the coast of Brazil, where salt has capped some of the largest oil fields found in recent years.
