Job Summary: We have an excellent opportunity for a Learning and Development Intern, to work in HRFMD.
Job Description: The Human Resources and Facilities Management Division (HRFMD) is headed by a Director and is responsible for the strategic and operational requirements of the Secretariat. For this purpose, the HR function is defined as including all HR operational and strategic services and the reporting and monitoring of such to internal senior executive management and stakeholders. The major components of the HR function include development and implementation of policies; recruitment of staff and deployment of consultants on overseas assignments; performance management; learning and development; reward; employee relations; employee engagement; provision of advice to staff and management; organisational development; and service delivery. We have an excellent opportunity for a Learning and Development Intern, to work in HRFMD. The successful candidate will undertake a number of tasks relating to the training component of the OpenHR system currently being developed. This will enable staff to book L&D offers through the self-help component of the system; accurate records of staff members’ learning and development to be captured and Management Information to be developed. The intern will also be expected to assist in various tasks related to organizing and running courses – including booking venues, corresponding with participants, following on course feedback. The intern will also be expected to undertake research and contribute to the development of courses as required.
Requirements: To be considered, you must be between the ages of 20 and 30 years and be enrolled in, or recently completed, a degree in Human Resource Management.
