Now with his first movie role in Noel Clarke’s, The Knot Kojo returns to Hackney Empire to tape his first ever DVD “Live N Kicking”

Acclaimed comic, actor and presenter Kojo will be marking his return to the comedy circuit with his hilarious new show "Live N Kicking" at Hackney Empire on January 20 and 21st. It will be the energetic 31-year-old's first solo outing in five years, since taking the US by storm, landing his own comedy series on MTV Base and becoming a presenter on Choice FM.

25-26 January – The Solar Future: Johannesburg, South Africa

Image South Africa has an average of over 2,500 hours of sunshine annually. The country's solar radiation output is over twice that of Europe and one of the highest outputs in the world. This makes it a perfect climate for solar energy. The immense potential of solar energy is slowly being realised and the South African solar industry is experiencing steady growth. New policies, investments and major loan guarantees by institutions such as the African Development Bank have accelerated the development of this upcoming market.

On 25 January Solarplaza will be organising The Solar Future: South Africa, a conference devoted entirely to the South African solar market. AfricanBrains is devoted to the promotion of innovation and attracting investment into new technologies.
