Job Summary: Seeking an experienced administrator to co-ordinate and manage student administration services.
Job Description: The University’s business and administration is supported by the specialist professional services of Academic Registry. Working closely with our academic Schools and international partners, the European and Study Abroad Office offers a central service in the administration of student and staff mobility. We work with our Schools and partners to manage a consistent, effective, and collaborative service through our office bases at College Lane Campus and de Havilland Campus. Main Duties & Responsibilities Academic Registry is seeking an experienced administrator to undertake the co-ordination and day to day management of student administration services, and staff responsible for our exchange and mobility provision. This will require occasional travel within the UK and overseas, as well support to events such as Europe Week and weekend Open Days to promote study abroad opportunities. This is an interesting and varied position that provides opportunity to enhance your administrative experience and to seek a new challenge in building strong working relationships within the University and with our partners. You will be responsible for leading and ensuring compliance with student record data entry and regulatory data returns, working with colleagues within Registry and Finance and providing oversight of relevant processes and policies. In addition to this, you will be working closely with colleagues within and outside Academic Registry to enable compliance with University and Erasmus regulations, including for example, regulations around grants and scholarships.
Requirements: The successful candidate will have well-developed and proven organisational skills, excellent interpersonal and written skills, demonstrable IT experience, and flexibility to meet and deal with competing demands and deadlines. You will need the ability to understand, implement and apply University and Erasmus policies and regulations, and to communicate those policies and regulations with a variety of individuals and at all levels. Qualifications Required An ideal candidate would hold a graduate degree or an equivalent professional qualification or have significant and relevant professional work experience.
