LACK OF CANDOR AND LAWLESSNESS ARE THE BIGGEST THREAT TO AFRICAN DEVELOPMENT

There are a lot of lawless people in this world. But our part of Africa has seen too many lawlessness.
People break the rules with impunity and get away with it. Heavy weight politicians, technocrats, civil and puplic servants are the worst offenders.
While they break the Law, they are also dishonestly defending themselves.
While in some parts of the world the 'Law is a brothers keeper' - your security and personal well being is protected by the law and state institutions. In ours 'your brother is your keeper'. If you donot have a big man behind who is a family, a family friend or friend's family friend, forget it. Guilty people are untouched because of who they know or where they belong.
Let us be candid in our dealings and be law abiding. That is the only way GOD too would bless us.
GOD loves law abiding people and those who are ready to confess and ask for forgiveness if they break the law.
We are losing billions in cash to coruption, best brains to the advance world, respect in international circles and waste in society due to lawlessness and lack of candor. Lets stop!
